Apples are now grown in most parts of Australia. Tasmania still leads the way with Orange in NSW, Batlow, Lismore and many other parts of Australia. The most popular Apples are the new varieties of Gala Apples, the granny Smith apple is also popular, Bonza apples, red delicious are also grown. a large quantity are exported to Asia and the middle East.
